Gerina-Piller
She was conceived on March 29, 1985, in Roswell located in the state of New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican-American and is an American through nationality. From a young age, her desire to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina started playing golf when she was fifteen. Gerina completed her high school education through Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she won the New Mexico state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. She went to the University of Texas in 2003. In the final seasons of her professional career, she had won every tournament where she played. During her undergraduate career she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athletics Player of the Year.
